Tel Aviv

Saturday, Sept 17, Heidi and I will be leaving for Tel Aviv.
Heidi is going for a conference:
Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering (CMBBE)
And I'm just going along for fun.

Heidi is going to regret asking me to come along - we're there for less than a week and it's going to be a whirlwind of a trip! No time for jet lag on this trip!
The links to the calendar and map on the right should work but here's the plan:
We arrive in Tel Aviv on Sunday the 18th.
Monday is a tour of Jerusalem including Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane and the City Walls, Mount Zion and the City of David.
Tuesday is a photo tour of Tel Aviv-Jaffa
Wednesday and Thursday are heavy conference days for Heidi but I am hoping we can go to Mitzpe Ramon Wednesday night and see the stars and then Makhetesh Ramon (Ramon Crater) the next morning.
Friday is another tour this time of Masada, the Dead Sea, Ein Gedi and Jericho
And then we fly home Saturday.
So much to see, such little time.
